The project presented unique challenges due to its location on a peninsula in the middle of the lake, resulting in a high water table just three feet below ground and no load-bearing soil within 15 feet of the surface. Helical piles were the ideal solution to ensure stability and durability in these conditions.

Techno Metal Post Illiana installed 18 galvanized helical piles, each measuring 3 ½ inches in diameter and embedded to a depth of 30 feet. The installation was completed in just two days, providing a strong and reliable foundation for the park’s gazebo and shelter.
